"Injuries to Whitewater Paddlers" presentation
Dr. Edward Lilly III, the only fellowship trained hip & knee, sports medicine and general orthopedic physician at Blue Ridge Bone & Joint's Hendersonville office, presented on the topic "Injuries to Whitewater Paddlers" at the Piedmont Orthopedic Association meeting. Dr. Lilly described the meeting, held from May 5 to 9, 2010, as one which offered him an opportunity to interact and network with colleagues from around the region. Among other things, Dr. Lilly is an avid whitewater paddler who has enjoyed the wonderful outdoor opportunities western North Carolina offers whitewater thrill seekers.
