Dr. David Napoli, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery, attended the 14th annual Hand Surgery Symposium -- Strategies for Success in Hand and Upper Extremity Care, from March 2-5 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, allowing him to stay abreast of the latest advances in surgery of the hand and upper extremity.  Dr. Napoli practices at Blue Ridge Bone and Joint in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

I will be giving a talk on Dupuytren’s Disease on Tuesday, April 19th at 12:30 pm in the Pardee Health Education Center at the Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville. Dupuytren’s Disease is a thickening of the tissue in the palm of the hand that can cause the fingers to contract into the palm.  Dr. Napoli will talk about the condition as well as treatment options, from traditional surgery to the latest minimally invasive techniques.  The public is welcome.  The talk is free.  Please call (828) 692-4600 to RSVP.

Dr. David Napoli, the only fellowship trained hand, elbow & shoulder physician at Blue Ridge Bone & Joint’s Hendersonville office, attended the annual meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand on October 6 - 9, 2010 in Boston, MA.  Dr. Napoli characterized the meeting as an excellent opportunity to continue to expand on his knowledge about the latest advances in surgery of the hand and upper extremities.

Dr. David Napoli, the only fellowship trained hand, elbow & shoulder physician at Blue Ridge Bone & Joint’s Hendersonville office, made a free community presentation on the subject of osteoarthritis of the hand and wrist at the Pardee Health Education Center on September 21, 2010 in Hendersonville, NC.  Dr. Napoli characterized the meeting as an excellent opportunity to continue to educate interested Hendersonville area residents about common issues related to hand and wrist osteoarthritis.
