Dr. Napoli attends 66th annual meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand

Dr. David Napoli, the only fellowship trained hand surgeon at Blue Ridge Bone & Joint’s Hendersonville office, attended the 66th annual meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand from September 8-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada, allowing him to stay abreast of the latest advances in surgery of the hand and upper extremity.  The ASSH annual meeting is the premier hand surgery meeting in the nation.

Talk on Dupuytren’s Disease, April 19th

I will be giving a talk on Dupuytren’s Disease on Tuesday, April 19th at 12:30 pm in the Pardee Health Education Center at the Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville. Dupuytren’s Disease is a thickening of the tissue in the palm of the hand that can cause the fingers to contract into the palm.  Dr. Napoli will talk about the condition as well as treatment options, from traditional surgery to the latest minimally invasive techniques.  The public is welcome.  The talk is free.  Please call (828) 692-4600 to RSVP.

Osteoarthritis of the Hand and Wrist

 Dr. David Napoli, the only fellowship trained hand, elbow & shoulder physician at Blue Ridge Bone & Joint's Hendersonville office, presented on the subject of "osteoarthritis of the hand and wrist" on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Pardee Hospital Education Center at the Blue Ridge Mall in Hendersonville.  The event was very well attended by over 100 area residents, who apparently found the subject quite informative while adding to the presentation with a half hour Q&A session.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Presentation
