John S. Wood Jr., PA-C
John Wood attended University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor in Health Sciences Degree in Physical Therapy. He worked several years in the Cincinnati and Saint Louis areas as a physical therapist before moving to North Carolina to continue his education. He attended Wake Forest University earning a Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He moved to Asheville after graduation in 2005 with his wife to practice as a Physician Assistant with Dr. Jay Jansen. He recently became a father. He enjoys running, golfing, hiking and spending time with his family.
