Myron W. Smith, III, M.D.

Dr. Myron W. Smith graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University with a BSE in Biomedical Engineering where he was elected to the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital residency program in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Smith's interests lie in knee and shoulder surgery, sports medicine/arthroscopy, knee and hip replacement surgery, fracture care, and general orthopaedics.

At home, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, working in the yard, and playing tennis.
