Denise attended Western Illinois University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Physical Education – Human Performance in 1989. She simultaneously completed the curriculum for athletic training , and became certified as an athletic trainer in 1989 also. For 17 years, Denise worked with pts in various outpatient PT clinics and provided sports medicine services to regional high school and college athletes. She later attended Southwestern Community College and received her Associates degree for Physical Therapy Assistant in 2006. Denise is a certified ASTYM provider and regularly attends continuing education classes to improve her PT skills.
Denise is an avid tennis player, loves to travel, and is a chocolate aficionado. Denise is also fluent in sign language (SEE).
