George attended Furman University where he was a vocal performance major and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in music from Furman University in 1990. He graduated in 1995 from the Medical University of South Carolina with a a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy and a master's degree in health sciences. He continued his medical education and earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009 from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is currently the director of physical therapy at the Hendersonville office. He has a wife and two children. He also enjoys golfing, running and singing.
